- Even though Napoleon is strong, the Britain army in Belgium is 100x stronger
- Napoleon is probably greater than Alexandre the Great which is already great as you can see from his name
- Also, the Duke of Wellington studies all of Napoleon's move, so that is one of the fact that made Napoleon lost in a battle

- Life became more miserable after the French executed their king and queen

Day 1
Why did the French execute their King? (I)- Louis faced 33 charges, including:
- accepting a constiution he despised.
- trying to flee out of the country so he could get away from his problem.
- bankrupting the Nation by using the taxes to buy expensive stuff for himself.
- plotting against the Revolution.
- When Louis was on trial he was allowed to hire lawyers but he is not allowed to call witnesses
The day before the execution: 20 January
Afternoon- The king spends time with an Irish priest called Edgeworth who was to act as his confessor.
7:00 p.m - Louis was allowed to see his family for the first time since the death sentence was passed.
8:30 - On leaving his family Louis ate dinner with a spoon, he cant use any knife. His last supper included 2 chicken wings, some vegetables, two glasses of wine, and a piece of sponge cake with a glass of Malaga wine for dessert.
9:30 - Louis had a very sad and emotional last meeting with his family.
10:15 - When Louis stand up to leave

Topic: what was life before the revolution? (part 1)
- there is the 3 estates: first and the highest is the "clergy". on the second one is the "nobility" and the last one is "everyone else".
- there is different parts on the third estate, there is the one in middle class and the one that hardly survive each day.
- in that time, its not clear who is rich and poor...
- the horrible part is that, the "clergy" who is very rich (mostly) pays NO TAX!!! the "nobility" pays only some of the tax and the "everyone else" needed to PAY ALL OF THE TAX!!! {that is very unfair!}
- the King has power, but he can't enforce his wishes
- we are taught by Mr.Rick that the textbook is only the base information so we need to research, research, research!!! and build it like this....
